Ingredients For penne pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and chile

4 Tbspred chiles, ground

1 lbpenne pasta

3/4 lbparmesan cheese, grated

2 tsppepper

1/2 colive oil

3garlic cloves, minced

1 Tbsplemon peel, grated

1/2 cparsley, chopped

1/2 cbasil, fresh chopped

1 cblack olives, packed in oil, pitted and halved

1/2 csun dried tomatoes, cut into slivers with oil reserved

2 Tbspoil, from tomatoes
How To Make penne pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and chile

1Combine all ingredients, except the cheese and pasta, and let sit at room temperature for a couple of hours to blend the flavors.

2Cook the pasta in 4 quarts of boiling salted water until tender but still firm - \'al dente\'. Drain.

3Toss the pasta with the sauce and cheese until well coated and serve.
