Ingredients

4 oz
prociutto ham, chopped
1 clove
garlic, minced
1/2 tsp
red pepper flakes
1 can(s)
(28 oz) whole tomatoes - drained, reserve juice
1 c
heavy cream
1/3 c
vodka
1/4 c
fresh basil, or 1 tablespoon dried
1 tsp
salt
1 lb
penne
1 c
romano cheese

Step-By-Step

1Combine the first 8 ingredients and cook until short of a boil. Reduce heat to simmer.
2Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and add the cooked sauce.
3Top with romano cheese or have it to pass around the table.
