Ingredients For noodle stroganoff

1/4 cbutter

1 csour cream
-
4 ozmedium egg noodles

1/4 tsppepper
-
1 tspsalt

1 canbeef consomme
-
3 Tbspburgundy or other red wine

3 Tbsplemon juice

1 lbground beef
-
1/2 lbsliced mushrooms
-
1garlic clove, minced
-
1/4 csliced scallions or onions
-
snipped fresh parsley
How To Make noodle stroganoff

1In hot butter in skillet, saute scallions, garlic and mushrooms until lightly browned.

2Add beef; cook, stirring, until red color disappears.

3Stir in lemon juice, burgundy, consomme, salt and pepper.

4Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes.

5Stir in uncooked noodles.

6Cook, covered, 5 minutes, or until noodles are tender.

7Mix in sour cream; heat quickly but do not boil.

8Serve at once, sprinkled with parsley.
