Ingredients For no peek casserole

  • 2 lb
    beef, i use sirloin
  • 2 can
    mushroom (drain one) can use fresh see below
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can
    condensed mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 c
    red wine, dry burgundy(optional)
  • 8 oz
    sour cream, optional
  • egg noodles or rice

How To Make no peek casserole

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients in oven proof dish or dutch oven. Cover tightly. Bake 3 hours at 300 degrees. Sour cream may be added before serving. Serve over noodles or rice.

    Note: I have used fresh mushrooms and added 1/2 cup of water.
