Ingredients

1 pkg
pepperoni
1/2 lb
ground beef (i prefer sirlion)
1/2 lb
pork sausage
1 medium
onion finely diced
3 clove
garlic finely minced
1 Tbsp
whole basil
1 1/2 tsp
salt
1 16 oz can(s)
crushed tomatoes
2 6 oz can(s)
tomato paste
10 oz
lasagna noodles, cooked
1 1/2 c
riccotta cheese
1 1/2 c
cottage cheese
1/2 c
parmesan or ramano cheese
2 Tbsp
parsley
2
eggs, beaten
2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper
1 lb
mozzarella cheese

Step-By-Step

1In a skillet with a little EVOO fry pepperoni, then place on papertowl to drain, in same skillet brown and crumble ground beef and sausage, with onion and garlic, spoon off excess grease.

2to meat mixture add basil, tomatoes, tomato paste and 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt (or to you liking, simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.

3In a large bowl combine ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs, salt and pepper, mix well.

4Place 1/2 the noodles in a 13x9 baking dish, spread 1/2 the cheese mixture over noodles, then 1/2 the meat mixture, place in a single layer 1/2 the pepperoni, then 1/2 the mozzarella, repeat layers.

5Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, let stand 10 minutes.
