3 lb ground beef
2 green peppers seeds removed and chopped
2 onions chopped
1 can(s) mushrooms
2 large cans of tomato sauce
2 large cans of tomatoes
2 can(s) tomato paste
1 can(s) tomato juice
1 salt and pepper (season to taste)
2 bay leaves
1 tsp sweet basil
2 tsp oregano
1 garlic to taste

This sauce is incredible. One of my own concoctions but good enough for a marriage proposal. Simmering this sauce just makes it better. The batch is large enough to freeze some for later use. If there is any left!

Brown ground beef and add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 8 hours. Remove bay leaves before serving. This sauce can be frozen or canned to use at a later time.

NOTE: Spices should be adjusted to your taste. This sauce is quite mellow.
