| 1 tsp | salt |
| 3 Tbsp | soy sauce, low sodium |
| 3 | bay leaves |
| 2 Tbsp | italian seasoning |
| 2 - 15 oz. can(s) | diced tomatoes with garlic & onions |
| 2 - 15 oz. can(s) | tomato sauce, no-salt added |
| 3 c | water |
| 5 clove | garlic, chopped |
| 2 large | onions, chopped |
| 2 lb | ground beef, leanest you can get |
| 1 Tbsp | seasoning salt |
| 2 c | elbow macaroni, uncooked |

Directions
In a dutch oven, saute the ground beef over medium high heat until no pink remains. Break up the meat while sauteing. Spoon off any grease.Add onions & garlic to the pot & saute until they are tender, about 5 minutes.Add water along with tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, bay leaves, soy sauce & all seasonings. Stir well.Place a lid on the pot & allow to cook for 15 - 20 minutes. Add macaroni, stir well. Return the lid to the pot & simmer for 30 minutes.Turn off the heat, remove the bay leaves & allow the mixture to sit about 30 minutes more before serving. Top off with desired toppings.

Very close to my recipe, I do believe I like yours better. We have friends who are Hungarian Immigrants. Once a year they make a big Goulash dinner for us. According to them, no one makes Goulash the same way. They use chunks of beef and no noodles. I much prefer the ground beef method. CHEERS, CC
