Ingredients

16 oz
pasta of choice( i use whole grain penne, or brown rice elbow pasta)
12-16 oz
pkg. frozen peas
8 oz
pesto-commercial or homemade
1/4 c
parmesan cheese

Step-By-Step

1Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. Meanwhile, cook peas according package directions, drain and set aside.

2Add pesto to pasta and toss to coat. Stir in peas. Top with parmesan cheese, and serve.

3Optionally can chill for several hours or overnight and serve as a pasta salad.
