I refuse to give up pasta but I no longer have it often. Recipes like this are what allow me to continue enjoying one of my favorite things.

Ingredients For diabetic pasta and broccoli

1/3 lbpasta of your choice

2 cbroccoli florets

2 tspolive oil

2 tspminced garlic or to taste

2 tspolive oil, light

2 Tbspparmesan cheese
How To Make diabetic pasta and broccoli

1Fill a large pot 3/4 full with water and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until to your liking, or according to the package directions. Drain the pasta thoroughly.

2While the pasta is cooking, in a pot fitted with a steamer basket, bring 1 inch of water to a boil. Add the broccoli, cover and steam until tender, about 10 minutes.

3In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta and broccoli, olive oil and garlic. Season with pepper to taste and mix. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, Serve immediately.
