Ingredients For baked spaghetti

  • 1 lb
    ground beef, leanest you can get
  • 1 lb
    italian sausage, hot
  • 1 lg
    onion, diced
  • 3 x lg
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp
    seasoned salt
  • 1 - 8 oz box
    spaghetti
  • 8 oz
    mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz
    parmesan cheese, fresh, shredded
  • 1 - 26 oz jar
    pasta sauce, of choice

How To Make baked spaghetti

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

    In food processor, add beef, sausage, onions, 1 egg, garlic, oregano & salt; pulse until thoroughly blended. Spread mixture evenly in a 9" x 13" baking dish.

    Cook pasta according to directions on package.

    Drain pasta (do not rinse). In a large bowl, whisk remaining eggs until blended; stir in 1/2 of each cheese; mix well. Add pasta & toss to coat until eggs & cheese are well blended into pasta. Spread evenly over meat mixture.

    Spoon pasta sauce over top. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Bake 35 - 40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
