This has been passed down from a few friends and the tradition is to credit the person you inherited from. I received it from my friend Becky. Not only is it a hit at pot lucks but also at the dinner table. It makes enough that you can enjoy the leftovers, which are delish!

sharp cheddar cheese
1 c
mayonnaise
1 c
sour cream
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 large
loaf of bread, crusty on the ouside, chewy on the inside
1 c

red onion, chopped

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2
Start the pasta boiling (do not rinse when done)
Set aside.
3
In a large bowl, combine mayo, sour cream and soup.
4
In a separate bowl, chunk up the bread into bite-sized pieces and toss with the melted butter. Set aside.

Add hot pasta and sharp cheddar to the mayo mixture, stirring well. Spread into a greased casserole dish.
