Ingredients For veggie burgers

  • 1 c
    instant brown rice, uncooked
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 c
    mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 c
    shredded carrots
  • 1 can
    kidney beans, drained (15 ounce)
  • 1/4 lb
    fresh mushrooms
  • 1 sm
    onion, diced
  • 2
    egg whites, lightly beaten

How To Make veggie burgers

  • 1
    Place first four ingredients into food processor. Mix until finely chopped. Place mix in a large bowl.
  • 2
    Add carrot and next 6 ingredients to rice mixture. Stirring well. Shape into patties that are the size of your choice of bun.

    Cook on grill or stove top griddle about 5 minutes on each side.
