Like the Croque-Monsieur and the Croque-Madame, I've created a grilled sandwich and, perhaps somewhat egotistically, named it after myself.

2 slice
white bread
~2 Tbsp
egg salad
1 slice
cheese (i use emmental or swiss)
ketchup, for serving

Directions Step-By-Step

Spread egg salad on one slice of bread, top with cheese, top with other slice of bread.
Melt ~1 teaspoon butter or margarine in a pan and fry sandwich until golden. Flip, add more butter/margarine if necessary, and fry the other side until it is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve with ketchup.
