This is a very old family recipe handed down from my Mom. My family loves it. I serve it with a salad on the side.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp
bacon drippings or shortening
1/2 c
finely chopped onion
2/3 c
finely chopped bell pepper
1/2 c
finely chopped celery
2 lb
raw or frozen shrimp chopped fine or ground
1
101/2 oz. can of cream of mushroom
1 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
red pepper
3
drops tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp
worchestshire sauce
2 Tbsp
finely chopped parsley
pastry for 2 crust pie

Step-By-Step

1Saute onion,green pepper, and celery in hot fat until soft but not brown.
2Add shrimp; stir and simmer 5 min.
3Add mushroom soup,flour and seasonings; simmer about 10 min.
4Remove from heat add parsley.
5Line small muffin pan with pastry.
6Fill with shrimp mixture and cover with top crust.
7Make cuts in topfor steam to escape.
8Bake in hot (400 degree) oven 20 to 30 minutes or until top crust is golden brown.
