Ingredients

1/2 c
heavy cream
1/2 lb
bacon, cooked, drained and chopped
1/2 lb
grated sierra da estrella cheese (swiss cheese may be substituted)
1 Tbsp
chopped chives
2
slightly beaten egg yolks
1 c
light cream
2 Tbsp
fresh chopped parsley
1 Tbsp
onion, chopped
1/4 lb
linguica, thinly sliced
1
(9" inch) pastry shell, unbaked

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Combine all the ingredients except the linguicia and fill the pastry shell with the mixture.

3Sprinkle the slices of linguica over the top.

4Bake in oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until center of quiche is firm.
