Ingredients

campbell's tomato soup
4 oz
heavy whipping cream
1/2 can(s)
whole peeled tomatos
4 slice
sourdough texas toast
4 slice
monterey jack cheese
2 Tbsp
non-salted butter
1 Tbsp
fresh basil
1/4 tsp
white pepper
1 tsp
kosher salt
1 Tbsp
ketchup

TOMATO-CREAM SOUP WITH MONTEREY JACK GRILLED CHEESE

Directions Step-By-Step

Melt butter in medium saute' pan, and add bread slices to pan. Add cheese slices to bread and fry bottom to a toasty crust on outside, then add other slice and turn over.

Add Soup base and all ingredients except heavy cream to a soup pot.
Mix well and heat to medium on stove top.
Gradually add heavycream to pot after everything is mixed.

Serve with bowl inside a plate, add chopped fresh basil for garnish on top of soup with a little mont. jack cheese melting atop.
