Kielbasa, Sauerkraut, and Dumplings

A very hearty one pot meal that was a childhood favorite. It can also feed a crowd by adding just a little more to the pot. Also look for a good quality polish kielbasa if you can find a butcher shop that makes their own all the better. I have a couple in the Cleveland area that will ship to California for me with a minimum order. If you contact me I'll give you the names.

I make this with Smoked Pork Chops instead of Kielbasa too, also very tasty.

Ingredients

2 lb
polish kielbasa
2 qt
sauerkraut ( if you have homade even better)

"sinker dumpling" recipe from my recipe box
12oz can(s)
beer

Add sauerkraut to dutch oven

slice and add kielbasa

add dumplings

add beer

bring to a boil, reduce to a low boil until most of the liquid has reduced. About 1 hour.
