This is a wonderful Irish dinner dish, baked The original recipe was sent to me by my Irish friend, from the south side of Chicago! it was bland and just so so. So I tweaked it and simplified it a bit, and added different ingredients along with the brown sugar. I then had a taste test with my neighbors...and they thought it was Delicious! Fresh green beans and some good ole Irish brown bread really compliments this meal. Mashed potatoes would be a plus. Hope you enjoy my simple version of yet another Irish soul satisfying dish! 5/8/12
