In a skillet, brown potatoes & onions in enough oil to fry. Stir occasionally so potatoes won't stick. Don't over stir because you don't want mushy potatoes. When potatoes start browning good and getting tender, add sausage and toss lightly. Salt & pepper to taste. Add corn that has been drained and toss again lightly. Reduce heat and cover with lid. Simmer on low for about 5-8 minutes.
