Stephanie's StoryThis delicious Halloween meal is made every October by one of our BUNKO hostesses and is a real treat for everyone!
10 - 12 lb
pumpkin, cleaned out completely
pork sausage (friend uses italian sausage)
uncle ben's wild rice
sliced water chestnuts
cream of mushroom soup
salt and pepper to taste
1Cut off top of pumpkin and completely remove the insides of the pumpkin. Brown ground beef and sausage; saute vegetables. Drain grease. Put back in pan; add remaining ingredients and mix together. Put all ingredients inside the pumpkin and bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours. ENJOY!!
2Using Italian Sausage makes it a little spicier but you can use just regular sausage.
