|10 - 12 lb||pumpkin, cleaned out completely|
|1 lb||ground beef|
|1 lb||pork sausage (friend uses italian sausage)|

|1 large||green pepper|
|1 pkg||uncle ben's wild rice|
|1 can(s)||sliced water chestnuts|
|1 can(s)||cream of mushroom soup|
|salt and pepper to taste|
Cut off top of pumpkin and completely remove the insides of the pumpkin. Brown ground beef and sausage; saute vegetables. Drain grease. Put back in pan; add remaining ingredients and mix together. Put all ingredients inside the pumpkin and bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours. ENJOY!!
Using Italian Sausage makes it a little spicier but you can use just regular sausage.
