Ingredients

7-10 lb
ham shank or ham butt bone-in
2 lb
dark brown sugar
1 1/2 c
orange juice

Directions Step-By-Step

combine sugar and orange juice to make a thick syrup.

Place Ham in a oven ready pan, make slits all over.

Pour the thick syrup.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 225 degrees at least 5-6 hours or over night...Slow and low is the trick....basting a few times....uncover and keep basting until browned...cut up and enjoy..
