- 7-10 lb
- ham shank or ham butt bone-in
- 2 lb
- dark brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c
- orange juice
1combine sugar and orange juice to make a thick syrup.
2Place Ham in a oven ready pan, make slits all over.
3Pour the thick syrup.
4Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 225 degrees at least 5-6 hours or over night...Slow and low is the trick....basting a few times....uncover and keep basting until browned...cut up and enjoy..
