This recipe took about 25 tries before my family was satisfied that this was the best chili ever. Of course its always a matter of opinion.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
2
onions, chopped
4 clove
garlic, chopped
28 oz
tomatoes, canned and chopped, with liquid
15 oz
tomato sauce
1 Tbsp
chili powder
1 tsp
cumin, ground
1/2 tsp
oregano, dried (mexican)
1/2 tsp
kosher salt
1/8 tsp
pepper
1/4 tsp
cayenne pepper
30 oz
kidney beans, canned, rinse and drain
2 Tbsp
cornstarch
1 1/4 can(s)
water

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown ground beef in a heavy skillet drain and place in crackpot.

Combine onion,garlic,tomato,tomato sauce,chili powder,ground cumin,oregano,salt,pepper,cayenne pepper and kidney beans. Add to ground beef and stir to combine.

Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.

Turn heat to high. Mix cornstarch and water add to chili and stir to combine. Uncover and cook for about 15 minutes until chili thickens.
