BLACK BEAN BURGERS

- black beans : sautee vegetables in
- 1/2 c
- red onion diced
- 1 1/2 c
- bread crumbs -plain
- carrot diced
- stalks of celery diced
- red pepper diced
- 1 tsp
- red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp
- 1/2 tsp
- sea salt
- 1 tsp
- black pepper
Drain and rinse beans, place into large mixing bowl
Add bread crumbs, sautéed vegetables, eggs, and all spices.
Mix well with hands, mashing up about 50 % of black beans with hands while mixing
Mixture should be firm. If sticky, add additional bread crumbs, 1/4 a cup at a time.
Place mixture into a container for at least 1 hour before making patties.
You can cook on the grill, or the pan
Serve on a nice crust roll with your favorite toppings!
Eat on a crusty roll with Lettuce, avocado and a spicy chipolata Mayo. Also tastes great with melted cheddar!
