Cajun BBQ Shrimp

This recipe came from a famous New Orleans restaurant. BBQ Shrimp are not typical BBQ on the grill...... don't kow why it's called BBQ but I know it's great. It took me a while to talk the chef out of the recipe!

pinch tips: Flour, Eggs & Breading Techniques


2 lb
large shrimp, unpeeled
1 stick
6 clove
garlic, chopped
1 Tbsp
fresh basil, chopped
2 tsp
fresh rosemary, chopped
1/4 c
lemon juice, freshly squeezed
salt,pepper and louisiana red hot sauce to taste.
fresh whole parsley leaves to garnish

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all inhgredients except fresh parsley leaves in a large casserole dish.
Bake in a 400 degree oven, stirring occasionally, unti shrimp turn pink. Remove immediately, garish with parsley and serve hot. A loaf of French bread goes very well with it to sop up the gravy!
