Easy Pleasy Spanish Rice

This is so delicious and I share it with everyone. I usually make this as a side dish to tacos.

Ingredients

5
slices of bacon, diced.
1/2 c
chopped onion.
1/2 c
chopped green pepper.
1
clove garlic, minced.
1 c
regular long grain rice, uncooked
1 can(s)
(10 3/4 oz.) condensed tomato soup
1
soup can of water
1 c
salsa, mild or to your liking

Step-By-Step

1In a 10" skillet, over medium heat, cook bacon till lightly browned.

2Stir in onion, green pepper and garlic.

3Cook until tender, stirring occasionally.

4Stir in rice; cook until rice is slightly browned, stirring often.

5Stir in soup, water, salsa; mix well.

6Over high heat, heat to boiling.

7Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Until rice is tender.
