Ingredients

MARY ELLEN D'S JUICY MEATLOAF

1/2
pound ground beef
1/2
pound italian sausage
1
egg (beaten with 1/2 cup of milk)
1
cup of canned tomatoes
1/2
cup of small diced onions
1/2
cup of small diced green bell peppers
1 - 1 1/2
sleeve of saltines
1
cup of tomato sauce or tomato soup
bacon slices (to put over the top of the meatloaf [optional]
1
plastic 1 gallon storage bag (to smoosh the saltines in)

Step-By-Step

1Preheat your oven to 350° F

2Mix the egg, milk, and tomatoes together

3Add the ground beef & Italian sausage and mix well

4Put the saltines in the 1 gallon plastic storage bag and bash the heck out of your saltines

5Now. Add enough crumbled saltines to the meat mixture to form a loaf

6Put the meatloaf into a bread loaf pan top it with the uncooked bacon slices and bake for 45 minutes to an hour
