Ingredients

TURKEY

1 3/4 c
(14 1/2 ounces) chicken broth
3 Tbsp
lemon juice
1 tsp
dried basil leaves, crushed
1 tsp
dried thyme leaves, crushed
1/8 tsp
freshly ground black pepper
1
(12 to 14 pounds) turkey, fresh or frozen

SLOW ROASTED TURKEY GRAVY

1 3/4 c
(14 1/2 ounces) chicken broth
3 Tbsp
flour

Step-By-Step

1Turkey:
Mix together 1 3/4 cups broth, lemon juice, basil, thyme and black pepper. Roast turkey according to package directions, basting with broth mixture. Discard any remaining broth mixture.
2Slow Roasted Turkey Gravy:
Remove turkey from roasting pan; pour off fat. Mix 1 3/4 cups broth with 3 tbsp. flour in roasting pan. Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring.
Makes 1 3/4 cups
