I love tuna casserole. It is a comfort food that reminds me of my childhood :-)

Ingredients For tuna macaroni bake

  • 2
    eggs-beaten well
  • 3/4 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 3/4 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion-grated
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3 c
    cooked macaroni noodles
  • 1 1/2 c
    grated cheese of choice (i prefer cheddar)
  • 1 can
    albacore tuna packed in water
  • **PREHEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES**

How To Make tuna macaroni bake

    Mix all ingredients together and place in a greased casserole dish. Bake at 375* until firm and light brown (about 1 hour).

    To serve, cut into squares. You can top each serving with ketchup or chili sauce.

    Note--my mom's recipe calls for 1 no. 1/2 can tuna. Well, I improvised with the albacore tuna packed in water since i have no idea what a no. 1/2 can tuna is :-)
