Ingredients

SHRIMP STOCK

2 clove
water
shells from 1
1 tsp
salt
1/2 lb
shrimp, pureed

DIVINITY SAUCE

1 lb
jumbo shrimp, sauteed
1 lb
sour cream
1 tsp
paprika
1 tsp
cayenne pepper
1 c
shrimp stock
1 Tbsp
salt
3/4 c
chives, chopped
3/4 c
sliced fresh mushrooms

Directions Step-By-Step

FOR THE SHRIMP STOCK:

Simmer water, shrimp shells and salt over low heat until reduced to 1 cup of liquid. Remove shells and add the pureed shrimp.

DIVINITY SAUCE:

Mix all the ingredients and heat in a saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently. When sufficiently heated, serve on a bed of white rice. Garnish with fresh mushroom slices and chives.

NOTE: This dish looks lovely when served in a porcelain rarebit dish, garnished with fresh sliced mushrooms and chives.
