Being raised in Maryland, I love all dishes made from crab. Crab cakes are always an easy favorite to make.

Ingredients

lb. lump crab meat

eggs, slightly beaten

green bell pepper, chopped small

tsp. dry mustard
1/2
tsp. salt
1/8
tsp. pepper
1/3
cup cracker crumbs

tbsp. mayonnaise
butter for cooking
old bay seasoning

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine eggs with next six ingredients. Fold in crab meat and shape into cakes. Sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning, coat with additional crumbs and refrigerate for one hour or until ready to cook.

Saute in butter over medium heat for about three minutes on each side or until delicately browned.
