This recipe is an old school favorite of mine, that our cafeteria served. I was lucky enough to get the recipe from my best friends mother who worked in the cafeteria...been enjoying them ever since.

My kids just love this recipe...makes a great appetizer and can easily make a double recipe, for parties..

I hope you try them sometime...

Enjoy!

Ingredients

2 Tbsp
butter
1/3 - 1/2 c
minced onion
1 lb
kielbasa - sliced
1/4 c
plus 2 tablespoons ketchup
1 1/2 Tbsp
dry mustard
1/2 tsp
worcestershire sauce
4 tsp
brown sugar
1/2 tsp
pepper
1/4 c
rice vinegar or favorite

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

In a small to medium skillet, brown onions in butter.
2In a small bowl, whisk all other ingredient, except kielbasa.

Add mixture to skillet, mix with onion and simmer a few minutes.
3In a small casserole dish, spread Kielbasa slices.
4Pour sauce over Kielbasa and toss to coat.

Note:
You could probably use 2 pounds of sausage with the amount of sauce, we just like ours saucier. Any less sauce with a pound of kielbasa is too dry for our tastes.
5Bake for 20 - 25 minutes, or until good and bubbly. I then place under broiler to caramelize a few minutes. Just my preference.

Serve with toothpicks. Enjoy!
