Ingredients For pork with green onions

  • 5 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    cold water
  • 4 tsp
    corn starch
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 lb
    pork sirloin, cut up for stir-fry meat
  • 2 Tbsp
    dry sherry
  • 2 tsp
    rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    peanut oil
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, sliced into 1-2 inch pieces
  • 1 can
    sliced bamboo shoots, drained
  • 1 can
    sliced waterchesnuts, drained
  • hot cooked rice

How To Make pork with green onions

    Mix 3 Tbsp soy sauce, cold water, cornstarch, and sugar in bowl; add pork, refrigerate for 15 minutes.

    Mix remaining 2 Tbsp. soy sauce, sherry, vinegar and sesame oil; set aside.

    Head oil in uncovered wok at 400 degrees. Add garlic and stir-fry for 10 seconds. Add pork and stir-fry for 4 minutes or until cooked through.

    Add green onions, waterchesuts and bambo shoots. Stir-fry 30 seconds. Add Sherry mixture and stir until smooth and thickened. Serve immediately over hot cooked rice.
