Herbed Pork Chops

You can grill or fry pork chops, but I prefer to bake mine. Baking them covered with a little water makes them VERY tender and juicy.

pork chops
1 1/2 tsp
oregano, divided
1 1/2 tsp
basil, divided
1 1/2 tsp
parsley, divided
1 tsp
garlic powder, divided
olive oil

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

FOR EACH PORK CHOP:

Brush the top lightly with oil.

Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon each, parsley, oregano and basil and with 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.

Place the chops in a baking dish in a single layer.

Add a little water to the pan being careful not to pour it directly on the chops. Do not cover the chops with the water.

Cover the dish with foil.

Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until done.
