Wanted to pretend it was summer so I made a summery meal. Baked beans, pork roast, mashed cauliflower, and deviled eggs.

Ingredients

1 small
boneless pork roast
1 can(s)
northern beans, lightly drained
1 can(s)
chili beans, lightly drained
1/3 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1.4 c
molasses
1 tsp
diced garlic from a jar
1 small
onion, diced
any pork rub or seasoning. i used grill mates pork rub that i found at family dollar for $2.

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Rub the roast with the rub and put fat side down in a covered baking dish in the oven.

In another baking dish put the beans, molasses, onion, garlic and sugar together and place in oven.

NOTE: I didn't combine the first 1 1/2 hours so the grease wouldn't be in the beans.
2
After an hour and a half remove the pork roast and place fat side up into the beans dish and continue baking for another 1 1/2 hours decreasing the heat to 300 degrees.
3
I served with mashed cauliflower and deviled eggs
