Ingredients

2 lb
pork loin
1 stick
butter
4 - 5 Tbsp
honey
1 tsp
pepper
1 Tbsp
cajun seasoning
1/2 - 1 tsp
cayenne pepper
3/4 - 1 c
water

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In an ovenproof skillet or dutch oven , stir butter and honey over medium heat, until butter is melted.
2
Remove any silver skin from the loin.
3
Liberally sprinkle loin with cayenne pepper, Cajun seasoning and pepper.
4
Brown each side of the loin for about 5 minutes in the honey butter. Making sure not to burn the honey.

Lower the heat if honey begins to burn.
5
Now, place the skillet in the oven, uncovered for 25 - 30 minutes or until pork is no longer pink. Do not over cook.
6
When the loin is finished; remove to a serving platter, cover with foil and let rest while you cook down the remaining honey/butter sauce.
7
In the same pan, add the water, scraping the bottom of pan to get any browned bits loosened.

Simmer for about 5 minutes, until sauce is reduced and thickening. ( sauce will be an auburn color )
8
Now, slice your pork, and drizzle with the sauce.

Enjoy!! It's delicious!!!
