These nachos are absolutely tasty and a perfect alternative for traditional Italian pizza...the Mexican Nacho Pizza way! The three different cheeses make it especially delicious and creamy. Use a top grade salsa or make your own.

Ingredients For mexican nacho pizza

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • tortilla chips
  • 1 can
    refried beans
  • 4 oz
    fontina cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz
    white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 oz
    yellow processed cheese, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    bell pepper, choppped
  • 1 c
    salsa

How To Make mexican nacho pizza

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare a 9x12 inch baking dish by spraying with vegetable spray. Set aside.

    Brown the hamburger meat over a medium heat; drain fat. Add the taco seasoning package and water. Cook until thickens. Set aside.

    Using a knife, spread the refried beans onto the tortilla chips as thick as you like. Spread the chips on the bottom of prepared baking dish. Layer the cheeses, hamburger mixture, onions, bell peppers, and salsa over the chips.

    Bake for about 20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
