My son loves this...he'll eat it till it's gone...lol! It's a lot like Goulash...add condiments, such as sour cream, extra onions, jalapeno slices etc...

My son prefers it right from the pan, the way it is...you could serve it with a simple salad, and some crusty bread, and you'll have one tasty meal. Even better reheated.

Enjoy!

Method:
Stove Top

Ingredients

16 oz
cooked and drained - not rinsed, pasta, your choice - I used a blend
1 lb
ground beef
1/2 - 3/4 c
green bell or jalapeno pepper, chopped
1
onion, chopped
1 1/2 pkg
1.25 size taco seasoning mix
1 - 29 oz
tomato sauce
1 - 14.5 oz
can, plum tomatoes, drained & chopped
1 1/2 - 2 Tbsp
sugar
1 1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1 c
shredded, cheddar cheese
condiments
of your choice if any - is good alone

Step-By-Step

1Cook your pasta as stated on box or bag, drain - don't rinse.
2In a large skillet, brown ground beef, peppers and onions, until beef is no longer pink, and veggies are soft. Drain
3Add 1 1/2 packages of taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water. Simmer for a few minutes. (You can add 2 whole packages of seasoning if you wish for more taco flavor. think 1 1/2 is just right.)
4Add tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, seasonings. Simmer until heated through.
5Stir in your pasta.
6Sprinkle cheese evenly on top, cover and remain cooking until cheese is melted.

Enjoy!
