Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

Ingredients

16 oz
spaghetti
1 lb
ground beef
1 small
onion, diced
1/2 medium
green bell pepper, diced
1 Tbsp
olive oil
1 (29 oz.) can(s)
tomato sauce
1/4 c
sliced mushrooms
2 Tbsp
parsley flakes
2 Tbsp
oregano
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 Tbsp
basil

Step-By-Step

1Heat oil in a large skillet. Add onion and bell pepper. Cook until tender.

2Add mushrooms and cook an additional 2 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

3In same skillet brown the ground beef.

4Add the tomato sauce and onion mixture. Add the spices. Stir to mix well.

5Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6While sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.

7Serve the sauce over the spaghetti.
