Had dinner to make and found these items already in the house so threw them together and it was DELICIOUS! Family loved it!!!! Told me I should share the recipe with you all. Enjoy!!!!

Ingredients For macaroni and cheese extreme cassorole

  • 1 bag
    macaroni, cooked
  • 2 lb
    hamburger, cooked and drained
  • 2 can
    jalapeno pinto beans
  • 2 can
    hernandez salsa
  • 1/2 jar
    jalapeno peppers
  • 3/4 pkg
    mexican velvetta (large block)
  • 3 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 lg
    onion diced
  • 1 bag
    taco flavored chips
  • 1 can
    black olives sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    sour cream (optional)
  • 1/4 c
    salsa (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp
    garlic chopped

How To Make macaroni and cheese extreme cassorole

    Heat oven to 350

    In skillet brown hamburger,onion, chopped garlic, jalapenos, drained pinto beans. Drain grease, season with salt and pepper
  • 3
    In a separate pot, cook macaroni. Drain. Add velvetta and hernandez salsa. You can use your choice of salsa, I just love the taste of hernandez. Let cheese melt as if for mac and cheese.

    After cheese is melted into macaroni add the hamburger mixture into the pot. Mix thoroughly so cheese is distributed throughout the hamburger mixture as well.

    Pour contents of pot into a casserole dish and spread evenly. Top with crushed Taco flavored (or your choice)Doritos and the cheddar cheese and sliced black olives (optional)

    Cook at 350 in oven until cheese melts completely. About 20 minutes. Serve with sour cream and Salsa on top(Optional)
