Easy Crockpot Macaroni and Cheese

I was recently assigned to make Mac & Cheese for a family gathering. I decided to cook it in a crockpot, but when looking for recipes, I noticed that all of them called for cooked macaroni. It is my personal belief that when I pull out the crock, I want nothing more than to throw ingredients in and let the crock do the cooking, not dirty extra pans and spend time boiling noodles, so I came up with this! It was a big hit!

Method:

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1-2 lb
uncooked macaroni (amount depends on how many people you need to serve)
2 c
milk
2 can(s)
cheddar soup
2 can(s)
evaporated milk
1 c
sour cream
2 1/2 c
sharp cheddar
1 pinch
salt
1 pinch
ground mustard
cooking spray

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Spray crockpot with non stick cooking spray.
2
Add uncooked macaroni, 2 cups milk, 1 can evaporated milk, 2 cans cheese soup, 2 cups cheese, salt, mustard, and sour cream.
3
Stir and cook on low for 1 hour (or high for 30 minutes). It's a good idea to continuously check the macaroni to make sure it's not burning, and give it a stir so it doesn't stick to the sides.
4
After one hour, stir in additional can of evaporated milk and 1/2 cup cheese.
5
Continue to cook on low for 2 hours. Season with salt and pepper.
