this next casserole recipe,i created,it reminded me of my high school days,when i try a fish patty is filled with cheese,i'm so addicted.

Ingredients For cheesy meltdown fish casserole

    processed american cheese cubes
  • 1 c
    shredded parmesan cheese,divided
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 c
    sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1
    red onion,chopped
  • 1
    carrot,chopped
  • 4 c
    frozen shredded hash brown potatoes,thawed
  • 7
    baked breaded fish patties,cut into pieces
  • 20
    baked fish nuggets
  • 15
    baked fish sticks
  • 1
    (10.75) can cheddar cheese soup
  • 3/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 c
    crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 c
    shredded monterey jack cheese,divided
  • 1 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese,divided

How To Make cheesy meltdown fish casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Grease a 3-quart baking pan.Sprinkle with american cheese cubes and 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese on the pan.

    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat;cook and stir mushrooms,red onion and carrot in hot oil until onions are transluncent,about 5 minutes.Transfer vegetables to a bowl.

    Stir in hash brown potatoes,fish patty pieces,fish nuggets,fish sticks,cheddar cheese soup,heavy cream,crumbled blue cheese,1/2 cup monterey jack cheese and 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese into vegetables.Spread fish-potato mixture into the prepared baking pan.Sprinkle remaining parmesan,monterey jack and sharp cheddar cheeses over fish-potato mixture.

    Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly and cheese is melted,40 to 45 minutes.Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
