I made this dish on my way out the door! I was going to meat my girlfriend for dinner. I was in the kitchen moving fast like I was on CHOP. Hahha..... I'm sure you and your family will like this dish.

Ingredients For ham pie

  • 5
    potatoes, medium choped in bite size chunks
  • 2
    carrot, sliced
  • 1 1/2
    chopped cooked ham
  • 2
    scallions chopped
  • 1/2
    stick butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder or more. can use fresh if like
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    onion power
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 8oz
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • PIE CRUST
  • you can buy store bought pie crust. i made mine from scrach.

How To Make ham pie

    Clean all your Veggies, Chop all. Set oven 350 degrees.

    In a pot put butter, flour. combine well with whisk. Add milk whisk well.

    Put all veggies and seasoning in pot cook low for about 15min without burning. Add cheese.

    Make sure your mixture is think but wet! Not runny.

    My mixture is that color because I added curry powder. That was a mistake. The pie was fantastic. If you want you can add turmeric. It will give it a nice color. When you mix make sure you taste it.
