Bunyan's Deli Steak Fajitas

These are great for a quick dinner! you can also use chicken or pork. I like to flash them under the broiler once they're assembled to give 'em some crunch

Ingredients

FOR THE FAJITAS

8 oz
sirloin steak
1 medium
red bell pepper
1 medium
green bell pepper
1 large
onion
1 Tbsp
chili powder
1 1/2 tsp
garlic salt
2 Tbsp
fresh squeezed lime juice
2 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin

FOR THE SALSA

1/2 c
pace picante sauce
1/4 c
avocado, mashed
1/2 c
sour cream
4 tsp
fresh cilantro, chopped
4, 10 in
flour tortillas

Step-By-Step

1Cut the steak, peppers & onion into 3/8 inch strips

2Dump them in a bowl with the chili powder, garlic salt & lime juice

3Toss to completely coat the meat

4Cover with saran wrap

5Stash in the fridge overnight

6Next day, saute this stuff in the olive oil until the veggies are just tender and the meat is about medium

7Take it off the stove & drain the liquid

8Dump the sour cream, picante sauce, avocado & cilantro in a bowl

9Stir thoroughly to combine

10Heat the tortillas just until warm

11Spread 1/4 cup of the salsa on each tortilla

12Add equal amounts of the meat mixture to each tortilla

13Roll 'em up

14Serve immediately, BUEN APETITO!!
