Ingredients For tilapia in a lemon sauce with capers

4(6 oz.) tilapia fillets

flour

1/4 c(2 oz.) diced onion

1/2 c(4 oz.) unsalted butter

1 1/2 Tbspcapers

1/2 cwhite wine
-
1/2 c(4 oz.) lemon juice

salt to taste

pepper to taste

1/2 bunchfinely chopped parsley
How To Make tilapia in a lemon sauce with capers

1In a very hot medium size pan, place two lightly floured tilapia fillets and sear one side until golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from pan, repeat with remaining fillets.

2Turn fillets in pan and add remaining fillets and start adding onions. When onions are translucent, add butter, capers, white wine and lemon juice. Salt and pepper to taste.

3Reduce heat to medium and let simmer for no more than 5 minutes. When consistency of sauce becomes silky add the minced parsley.
