This is a great recipe for tuna patties. It can be made healthier by eliminating the sauce and topped with fresh veggies. It is a great high protein sandwich that is tasty also.

Ingredients

TUNA PATTIES

2 large
cans tuna drained well
1 large
egg
1 c
parmesan cheese grated
1/2 c
bread crumbs
1 Tbsp
each fresh thyme and rosemary minced
1 tsp
each salt, garlic powder, and turmeric
1/2 tsp
black pepper

SAUCE

1 c
miracle whip
1/4 c
ketchup
1 Tbsp
cajun seasoning

TOPPINGS

lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles
bread or buns of choice

Directions Step-By-Step

Drain the tuna well pushing out as much moisture as you can. Mix in the ingredients for the patties and shape into 4 patties. Place on sprayed baking sheet and bake at 350 for 20 to 30 minutes depending on the thickness of the patties.

Mix the ingredients together for the sauce and set in refrigerator for flavors to mingle.

Serve the tuna patties with sauce on top and bread and toppings of choice
