Ingredients For baked cod with lemon scented bread crumbs

    whole wheat sandwhich thin, processed into crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp
    unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1
    zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 lb
    cod fish fillets

How To Make baked cod with lemon scented bread crumbs

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and spray a glass baking dish with non stick cooking spray. Place fish in baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Top evenly with bread crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

    Sauté bread crumbs in butter over medium heat until lightly browned.

    Remove from heat and add salt, pepper, parsley, and lemon zest.

    Place fish in baking dish. Top evenly with bread crumb mixture and bake in pre heated oven for 20 minutes.
