I usually make this when I have left over beef roast and pork. Saves time and it's a great way to use up leftover meat. My family loves this. I have experimented and finally came up with the perfect combination of ingredients. So good!!

Ingredients For yummy brunswick stew

  • 3 c
    shredded chicken
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded beef roast
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded pork
  • 4 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 tsp
    beef base (i use "better than bouillon")
  • 3 c
    potatoes (diced into small cubes)
  • 1 md
    onion (chopped)
  • 1 can
    great northern beans
  • 1 can
    butter beans
  • 1 can
    bush's bourbon and brown sugar flavored baked beans
  • 1 can
    diced tomato (or tomato sauce if family prefers no "chunks" of tomato
  • 1 can
    whole kernel corn
  • 1 can
    creamed corn
  • 3/4 c
    bbq sauce
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    mustard
  • 1 tsp
    ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder

How To Make yummy brunswick stew

  • 1
    When serving beef roast and pork roast, try to hide some from family and keep in fridge until ready for use. Day of preparation, cook 2 or 3 large chicken breasts in broth until shredded.

    To the broth, add beef base, onion and potato. Cook until tender. Add all the spices, ketchup, mustard, and bbq sauce.

    Dump all the cans of beans, corn, and tomato into pot and simmer until ready to serve. ENJOY!!!
