SPICY CHICKEN PASTA

My husband would eat macc & cheese every day if I would make it. So to compromise, I just make one pot meals based around macc & cheese with different flavors. This one I season the chicken like I would taco meat & add the tomatoes & chiles. Makes him happy!

Ingredients

1 lb
boneless chicken(white or dark)
1 box
ready cut pasta noodles(maccaroni))
8 oz
velveeta, cubed
1 can(s)
tomatoes & chiles, your choice of heat level
1/2 tsp
cumin
1-2 tsp
chili powder, to taste
1-2 tsp
garlic salt, to taste
1/2 tsp
white pepper & black pepper
olive oil, extra virgin

Step-By-Step

Step 1 Direction Photo

1Cut chicken into bite size cubes. Add seasonings & oil to chicken & mix well to coat.

2Put on pasta to cook according to package.

3Saute chicken in a large skillet until no longer pink. Drain.

4Put velveeta & tomatoes in a bowl, & microwave until cheese is melted. Stir well to combine.

5Cobine chicken, pasta & cheese sauce. Allow to sit covered for approx. 10 minues for cheese to stick to pasta.

6We like to add a dollop of sour cream on top & green onions if I have them.
