Smoky Cajun Wings w Cajun Sweet BBQ Sauce

chicken wings separated at joint tips discarded
each cajun seasoning,garlic powder, and smoked paprika
SWEET CAJUN SAUCE
shallot minced or two small shallots
cold butter cut into 8 pieces
Preheat oven 425 degrees.
Place wings in a large bowl and drizzle the liquid smoke over them rubbing with fingers to mix well.
Mix spiced together in a small bowl. Pour over wings and mix well.
Line a baking sheet with foil and arrange the wings in a single layer. Bake for 30 minutes turning once. Check for doneness may take longer depending on size of wings.
Meanwhile make the sauce.
Place olive oil in saucepan and cook shallots and garlic until translucent. Add remaining ingredients except butter.
Cook until warmed through. Add the butter 1 pat at a time stirring constantly until each is melted and incorporated into a sauce.
Remove wings from oven. Toss in sauce and serve with favorite dipping sauce or just as is with plenty of napkins
