Ingredients For pulled bbq chicken recipe

  • 2 lb
    boneless skinless chicken (breasts, thighs or a combination)
  • 12 oz
    bottle of barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 c
    chicken broth
  • 2 tsp
    chicken bouillon
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried onion flakes or ¼ yellow onion, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce

How To Make pulled bbq chicken recipe

    1.Rinse the chicken under cool water, trim and set aside. Pour barbecue sauce, chicken broth, bouillon, garlic powder, onion and Worcestershire sauce into the slow cooker then stir to combine.

    2.Add chicken to the sauce, cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours. Just before serving, use a wooden spoon to break it into shreds. Once the chicken is shredded, allow it to cook in the sauce until thickened. Serve as-is or with a little extra barbecue sauce on the side. Enjoy!
